Todd puts on an informative talk all things New Student Orientation. He wants your orientation to be a sucess by making it just as much fun as it is educational, You will learn how to break up the monotony of info lectures and attack the problem of new student boredom. Todd will go over ways to keep new students occupies and entertained for the night and through the weekend.
Included are tips for staff members on how to assemble your OL A-Team abd empowering your emerging leaders. Todd will speak from experience about what it is like on each side of orientation as an OL, Student, family member and performer all whil teaching the importance of understanding the other half.
The GOAL:
- Go over what is needed for an effective Orientation and figure out ways to make it better.
- Will give ideas for making orientation fun and memorable for new students and thus making them excited to attend your college. Also, ideas on how to help the new students and families retain all the information at your Orientation.
